Butler's Ranger's were the most successful and feared military organization in the American Revolution. They fought alongside Britain's Native Allies and used many of the same brutal techniques of battle. Today their style would be termed "guerilla warfare". They were only defeated once in military action.
After the war was over, most Rangers settled in the Niagara Peninsula of Upper Canada (Ontario today), though some settled on Prince Edward Island. We encourage you to click on some of the links to the left and find out more about Ranger history.
